Dressing Rebecca Gore: A closer look at the history of women’s fashion during her life in Waltham, 1806-1834

A virtual presentation of the historical styles of dress and accessories worn by women of Rebecca’s social and economic status in 19th century Massachusetts with costume historian Carrie Midura. Carrie Midura has been sewing professionally and as a hobby for 25+ years and has taught sewing classes throughout New England. She previously owned a sewing business specializing in historical costumes and teaching traditional sewing techniques. Carrie has created period clothing for historical sites throughout New England. Free.
