Join Us For "In the Light of Hopper"
Many thanks to our sponsors: Mass Cultural Council, Truro Vineyards, Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Addison Art Gallery, Truro Cultural Council, Orleans Cultural Council and Eastham Cultural Council.
Lower Cape TV is pleased to present "In the Light of Hopper" — a documentary by ArtsLight reporter and filmmaker Johnny Bergmann. Bringing Edward Hopper's paintings to life and connecting the past to the present through interviews with artists, historians and an author, the film explores the different ways in which Hopper's work continues to inspire people to create. We have a unique evening planned at Truro Vineyards which is beautifully situated in one of Edward Hopper's favorite places to paint — Truro.
The free premiere will begin at dusk (approximately 8:10pm) on the lawn, so bring your blanket or beach chairs to grab your spot anytime after 7pm to enjoy live music (a cash bar begins at 8pm).
You can also purchase a charcuterie box for two to be enjoyed during the movie (must be pre-ordered).
If you'd like to join us earlier — please make it an evening by attending our fund-raising cocktail party at 7pm for drinks and hors' dourves with a short presentation by special guest speaker Lisbeth Wiley Chapman discussing her passion for leading guests on her famed Hopper House Tours!
