Make your own holiday ornaments with laser cutters! Holiday season is just around the corner, decorations are being made, and gifts are being gifted. Bring out the holiday-season-maker in you and join this course as we cut out intricately designed ornaments using our laser cutter machines.
Whether you’re an advanced user or a beginner, this course will guide you through the process of making an ornament. Participants will learn how to laser-cut their own ornaments and will be exposed to some of the challenges that show up in the process of doing so.

Class Goals
Students will gain an understanding of the process of how to take a design and use laser cutter technology to create a holiday ornament.
Skills participants will obtain include:
-Understanding of how to create a design file that laser cutting software can understand.
-Understanding of how laser cutters work.
-Basic understanding of how our specific laser cutters are operated.
-How materials are selected and what are the best ways to use the laser cutters to engrave and cut out designs.
Each participant will leave with a custom-made laser-cut ornament.

$0; All materials provided except the design if people choose to make their own. Optional pre-made snowflake designs will be available as well.
