This February Vacation explore the relationship between the art and nature within deCordova’s rich, open environment. Discover quirky landscapes, amazing sculptures and see how they come together in works like Ron Rudnicki’s Rain Gates and Pasture Song by Nancy Winship Milliken. Document your experience of the animate and inanimate landscape by creating an artistic and collaborative short film.
The workshop will include collaborative discussions, creative problem-solving, visual storytelling and an exciting opportunity to delve into filmmaking. We’ll wrap up the week with an online screening for family, friends and film enthusiasts. No need for filmmaking experience. Join us for this uniquely creative, fun, and social workshop!
This interactive workshop will be hosted on zoom and outdoors at deCordova. It is limited to fifteen students, so as to allow for individual instruction. Registered students will receive zoom details at least one day before the start of the workshop.
Please note that face masks and social distancing practices are required while at deCordova.
