New to HUBweek this year, the Ideas Dome Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA will feature a series of more than four dozen sessions taking place across five days, exploring how we can build a more inclusive and equitable future.

Experts predict that co-occurring major depression and heart disease will be the greatest cause of disability worldwide by 2020 -- and women face twice the risk of men. Why is it that the co-occurrence of depression and heart disease affects women disproportionately? Scientists and clinicians at Mass. General Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health are developing therapeutics and policy initiatives to tackle this daunting public health challenge with major economic implications.

Speaker:

Jill Goldstein, PhD, MPH
Founder and Executive Director of the Women, Heart and Brain Global Initiative, Massachusetts General Hospital

Please note: all Ideas Dome sessions require a free HUBweek General Admission Pass to attend.
