Wednesday, October 18 at 8:00pm in John Knowles Paine Concert Hall, Professor Claire Chase will present Anna Thorvaldsdottir’s UBIQUE (2023). Thorvaldsdottir’s work, co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall, represents the tenth edition of Chase’s Density 2036 initiative. Hear the Boston premiere of this new evening-length work performed by Chase in collaboration with cellists Katinka Kleijn and Seth Parker Woods and pianist Cory Smythe. There will be a brief onstage conversation with the performers and members of the Harvard New Music Ensemble at the beginning of the performance. Tickets are free and the event is open to the public.
