Warm, plump, light and tender — dumplings are treasured staples in many regional cuisines. In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Thi will share the secrets of how to create classic hand rolled shells and savory fillings for three favorite East Asian dumplings. Class participants will start things off with a vegetarian cabbage and chive pan fried dumpling, followed by the delicate structure of shrimp and pork Shumai (steamed dumplings). Rounding out the trio is a chicken and seasonal vegetable dumpling – all are accompanied by a sweet and sour soy dipping sauce. So delicious.
