In our society, death and dying are often perceived as inherently negative topics of conversation and are often shrouded in confusion and grief. However, Buddha offered a completely different perspective on our mortality based on a profound understanding of the process of dying, the meaning of death, and what we can do to protect ourself and help others when the time of death nears.
During this meditation workshop, Gen Khedrub will share essential Buddhist contemplations to help us come to terms with our own mortality and transform death into a liberating experience.
This workshop will include guided meditations, teachings and time for Q&A. Everyone is welcome.
Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available, please email us at [email protected]
Registration: $30. At the door, in advance at: https://www.meditationinboston.org/death-dying
