Join us! Northeastern's Marine biology club, Terra Society, and the Northeastern Marine Science Center are hosting a screening of the documentary “Dead in the Water”. The documentary details the decline of the historic fishing industry in New England. There will be a panel following the screening with local commercial fishermen, the filmmakers, and Dr. Jon Grabowski, a fisheries scientist and associate professor at Northeastern University.

The documentary has attracted international acclaim for it's in-depth look into the failure of fisheries management from the perspective of local fishermen.

Light refreshments will be served!

Tickets are FREE for NU students and $13 for the public. Tickets available on mytickets.northeastern.edu now and are able to be purchased at the door.

All proceeds from the screening support the film and fishing community.
