Dani & Débora Gurgel Quarteto(Opens in a new window)—or DDG4— brings a mix of traditional and modern rhythms, elaborated harmonies, and improvisations to their original songs and carefully arranged covers of Brazilian and pop tunes.
Their music is an inseparable union of instrumental melodies, soulful samba scatting, and thoughtfully crafted lyrics. Each recording captures the spirit of a live performance, brimming with energy and spontaneity. The dynamic live performances are filled with the joy of long-established musical collaboration and connecting with the audience through a journey of musical intimacy and interaction.
DDG4 will perform with a large group of student musicians. This concert is produced by Fernando Brandão with musical direction by Utar Artun.
