Class Description: SoulFire Movement is an emotional wellness practice through dance movement. A high-energy, full-body workout using the power of dance coupled with guided meditation that incorporates authentic mindset techniques to help you reach your full potential. Think Zen meets Zumba!
In this class, we bring awareness to our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations through the power of movement. We provide a fun diverse musical playlist that includes genres like Hip-Hop, R&B, Soca, Afrobeat, Pop, Salsa, and conscious high vibrational tunes. Get ready to experience dance moves from around the world and engage in a high-energy full-body workout that will leave you feeling strong and joyful.
Class begins with a high-energy movement segment that will get your heart pumping and your body moving. Afterwards, we transition into a mild yoga-inspired stretch session, followed by a sound bath meditation to calm the body from all the dancing.
Sound Healing is a practice that uses vibrational frequency, and is also known as Sound Baths. Sound Baths have been known to relieve anxiety and stress, clear the subconscious, promote better sleep, reduce aches and pain, and bring complete relaxation thus calming the mind, and activating your body's natural healing systems. Sound healing is non-invasive and gentle for those who participate.​
Class Items: Get creative and wear those wild patterns and color of course is welcomed. As long as your comfy. Sneakers, your favorite workout shoes, a yoga mat, towel, water and any meditative tool such as photo, crystals, incense, or tea. (Not required)
