Curtain Call Theatre Presents “Art” by Yasmina Reza
Curtain Call Theatre (CCT) will present “Art” by Yasmina Reza on November 11, 12, 18 & 19 at 8:00 PM and November 13 & 20 at 2:00 PM. “Art” is a serious comedy about the nature of art and the practice of friendship. Serge, Marc, and Yvan have been close friends for fifteen years and satisfied with a comfortable triumvirate. But when Serge buys a new painting, the friendship begins to fray, and in coping with this new situation each must reconsider himself, his friends, and the whole relationship.
Directed by Peter Kates, this production stars actors Mark Logue as Serge, Michael Russo as Yvan, and Steve Small as Marc. Says Curtain Call Theatre Artistic Director, Toni Ruscio, “Curtain Call Theatre is thrilled to officially open their 2022-2023 season with this production of “Art”. It’s always a joy to bring people together for live performances, and we cannot wait for everyone to see this very talented team of artists at work!”
Tickets cost $22 and can be purchased at www.curtaincallbraintree.org. Attendees need to show proof of vaccination. Curtain Call Theatre is located at 182 Commercial Street in Braintree, Ma.
