Learn the secrets to preparing perfect homemade pasta from scratch and other dishes from an authentic Italian kitchen each month at Victory Point in Marina Bay (332 Victory Road, Quincy) with award-winning Chef Pino Maffeo and the Frattaroli Family of North End restaurant fame.


The seaside restaurant’s Cuciniamo! (Let’s Cook!) classes are a monthly series of hands-on demonstrations that will teach students all the skills needed to impress friends and family with fabulous fettucine, terrific tagliatelle and perfect pappardelle based upon centuries of Italian tradition.


The next class is on Wednesday, February 12 - just in time for you to learn how to prepare a very romantic seafood dinner for your favorite guy or gal.


The class, Seafood is for Lovers, makes a great date night, featuring hands-on lessons on how to prepare a pair of classically romantic Italian seafood dishes.


Students will learn how to make strings of perfectly tender linguine from scratch and turn the fresh pasta into deliciously light, festive piles of linguine & clams. You’ll even learn the secrets (and there is a secret!) to hand-cutting strings of perfect linguine in the old Italian traditional manner.


For a more sensual seafood touch, “Professor Pino” will teach students how to prepare a classic mignonette and teach them tricks for shucking oysters with style in front of your lover or even just your friends.

The cost is $55 per student, with all necessary ingredients and equipment, plus cheese board appetizers, and cash bar.
