“That’s no moon.”
Sharpen your lightsabers and punch it to hyperspace. Leia has the stolen plans and Vader has the galaxy’s worst construction project underway for the first time. The greater Brookline-Boston community has remade the classic 1977 space samurai western Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope as the public art project Crowdsourced Boston returns for its 6th year. You can check out the trailer here--be sure to share with your friends!
The bad news is there’s no budget. No budget for crew or music. No budget for special effects. The good news is we have The Force.
On Wednesday, December 7th at 7pm at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, come watch what our regional community of makers created at the premiere of this year's Crowdsourced film! Be there in a Star Wars costume and you may win a prize! Our theatre size is limited so please register to attend on EventBrite. Tickets are free to all Crowdsourced creator teams but you must be registered. Consider donating to this awesome community-made art project if you are able!
Please check out brooklineinteractive.org or call us at 617 731 8566 for more information.
See you soon!
