On Sunday, March 8 at 3:30 pm, the Museum of Science, in collaboration with WGBH, is hosting a free, community-wide town-hall forum to discuss the latest details around the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). This is an opportunity to join a discussion with experts and local leaders and ask questions about how a potential outbreak could impact you, your family, and the community. This important public conversation is for anyone interested in learning more about:
Making informed decisions for you and your family;
The science behind this outbreak;
Local and state resiliency planning;
Community support resources and organizing
The Museum is proud to be hosting this critical, timely conversation. Moderated by Arun Rath, host of WGBH’s All Things Considered, the conversation will convene experts in infectious disease research, public health administrators, community organizers, and others who will discuss the issues associated with this outbreak. Attendees can ask questions and learn more about the 2019 Novel Coronavirus and the implications it has on an individual and community level. Join us and your peers in listening and learning about the facts of this outbreak and what we can do to keep our region healthy and resilient.
To welcome as many members of the public to this important conversation, admission to the Museum will be free from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 8. Admission is first come, first served and seating is limited.
In collaboration with WGBH, the discussion will be live-streamed.
