Award-winning chef Pino Maffeo leads the monthly "Cuciniamo!" (Let's Cook!) classes each month at Victory Point in Marina Bay (332 Victory Road).
The December 10 class will be highlighted by delicious Italian sweet and treats perfect for Christmas, New Year's Eve and other holiday parties.
These are fun, feststive hands-on classes where guests cut, chop, mix and roll to prepare delicious recipes from scratch while sipping their favorite wines or cocktails. Chef Pino educates students with cooking tips, skilll and secrets and entertains them with tales from his global life in food.
All students enjoy the dishes they just created at the end of class, while heading home with recipes and samples of their food.
Victory Point Executive Chef Pino was voted one of America's "Best New Chefs" by Food & Wine magazine and has cooked at many of the best restaurants in Europe in America, while also retaining (and sharing) the generational skills handed down to him in his beloved mom's kitchen.
He's joined in the classroom by Victory Point owners Donato Frattaroli and Donato Frattaroli Jr. The Frattaroli Family boasts 50+ years owning and operating some of the North End's most popular eateries.
Cuciniamo! classes are held at Victory Point’s private upstairs Victory Room, offering sweeping views of Boston Harbor, the harbor islands and the yachts below.
The newest round of classses feature enhanced distancing and safety standards for the benefit of each attendee and their loved ones.
The cost is $75 per student, which includes all necessary ingredients, tools and utensils, plus cheese board appetizers and personal protective equipment for each guest. There is a cash bar featuring favorite wines, beers and spirits.
The first Cuciniamo! class of 2021 is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, January 15.
