Have you ever gone to a restaurant and chosen a dish based on photos or description? A well-presented dish can make your mouth water. And how many of us ordered “Today’s special” because the manager’s pitch was so well-crafted?
If you like to cook, spin a tale and make new friends, then here’s a wacky cook off just for you.
Cook it, Pitch it! Cook off
Highlights: Participants each cook the “Today’s Special” dish (recipe below) in randomly assigned teams of 3-4 members. Teams present and pitch their best “Today’s Special” dish. Everyone votes on which team’s dish and pitch they like best and the team with the most votes wins the “Best Dish To Order” award. Members of the winning team win a gift certificate towards a Refined Cook Online cooking class. Plus bragging rights.
The event will be live streamed on Facebook.
Competition dish: Chicken Marsala. Downloadable recipe on link.
Registration fee: $15/participant. As a bonus gift for joining our first competition, participants will also receive a VIP audience access pass to any Refined Cook online cooking classes valid until Sept. 15.
