Join us for this special panel discussion on how museums are approaching the presentation of difficult subject matter responsibly while challenging dominant cultural narratives. Featuring Brenda Tindal, Harvard’s Chief Campus Curator; Sarah Clunis, Director of Academic Partnerships and Curator of African Collections at Harvard’s Peabody Museum; and Stephanie Hueon Tung, the Byrne Family Curator of Photography at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem.
Organized by the Harvard Art Museums Student Board, as part of its Museums in Focus series, which explores the challenges facing museums in the 21st century that are of particular interest to young people today.
Free admission, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
