Join us for a Sunday afternoon concert in the beautiful historic Richardson Building at the Thomas Crane Public Library featuring pianist Roman Rudnytsky. This event will also be LIVESTREAMED to our YouTube channel.
Roman Rudnytsky is an American pianist of Ukrainian background who has been performing concerts around the world for many years. Born in New York and a graduate of the Juilliard School, he has now played in 100 countries.
He was prizewinner in ten international and national competitions, been soloist with many orchestras around the world (playing around fifty different works for piano and orchestra with them), has played concerts and conducted master classes in 35 countries through US Embassies and Consulates (with repeat visits to many), and played recitals on 70 cruises of Cunard and P&O ships.
In addition to his concertizing, Roman Rudnytsky also was a university professor of piano and music for many years, mostly at Youngstown (OH) State University--Dana School of Music---from which he is now retired and is "Professor Emeritus".
Recent concerts included recitals in Missouri and Kansas in February, an Alaskan tour in November, and recitals aboard Cunard's ship Queen Mary 2 over Christmas and New Year from New York to five Caribbean islands. Upcoming 2022 concerts include performances in Britain, his 14th New Zealand tour, and his 22nd Australian concert tour.
Please note that capacity for this event will be limited and masks are recommended. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the program.
