Please join Encore Tours and Old South Church in welcoming the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral of Dublin, Ireland to Boston in a free concert on Wednesday, July 17th at 7:30 pm. The Choir of Christ Church Cathedral enjoys an enviable reputation as one of Ireland’s finest choirs. Tracing its origins back to 1493, the cathedral choir has always been highly regarded in Dublin’s musical life and took part in the first performance of Handel’s Messiah in Dublin in 1742. Help us welcome the choir on their first ever visit and performance in Boston and celebrate Irish culture with this fantastic musical opportunity! The choir’s performance at Old South Church is part of a 2019 U.S. tour, with additional performances in New York City and Washington D.C. Admission to the concert is free, but RSVPs are required.
