As the host of ¡Con Salsa!, José Massó has brought the sound of salsa music and Latin jazz to Greater Boston on WBUR every Saturday for 48 years. Now, he’s bringing his show to CItySpace! Join us for an evening of live salsa music, dancing, conversation and community.


Don’t know how to salsa? No problem! Start the evening by learning the basics in a beginner salsa lesson taught by Salsa y Control’s Johnny Giraldo. After the lesson, José will kick things off by discussing his long career and the cultural impact of ¡Con Salsa! with WBUR reporter Simón Ríos. Then, dance the night away to the sounds of Manolo Mairena y La Pura Vida. Snacks will be provided by La Fabrica Central.


6:30-7:00 p.m - Beginner salsa lesson
