Discover Commedia dell'Arte and its music, the renowned Italian Renaissance theater which is the base of modern comedy!

This lecture/demonstration is presented by Boston-based Commedia dell'Arte troupe Pazzi Lazzi.

Actors/musicians Chiara and Dan will perform a short skit featuring Arlecchino, one of the most famous Commedia stock characters. After, there will be a lecture with slides about the history and characteristics of Commedia dell’Arte and its legacy, and a practical demonstration of its characters and music.

There will be a Q. & A. to follow.
