BRIDGEWATER, Massachusetts- Feb. 19, 2016- In effort to raise funds and increase awareness, The Bridge Center of Bridgewater, MA will be hosting a night of comedy and community. Comedy for Kids will be hosted on April 27, 2016 at Laugh Boston to benefit The Bridge Center, an organization dedicated to serving both children and adults with special needs. This night of fun features the Tony V Show, a Boston comedy legend that brings a unique local spin to stand up comedy. Just a short walk from Boston’s World Trade Center as well as Boston Convention Center, this evening event makes a night on the town into a great way to raise awareness for a local organization. The Bridge center is an organization that offers year round therapeutic activities for those with disabilities. Offering a safe place for social interaction and physical growth, The Bridge Center is one of a kind. The Bridge Center’s mission and values are dedicated to the growth and independent development of people with disabilities of all ages. Through various programs, including equine-assisted therapy, participants learn the skills to grow their self-confidence and self-advocacy in a safe and supportive environment they are often unable to find in the public school and after-school system. Along with participants who suffer from cognitive and physical disabilities form birth, The Bridge Center also offers programs for disabled veterans through equine assisted activities. Through an evening of laughter and hope, The Bridge Center hopes to raise funds in order to keep lending helpful hands to those in need. As an organization serving people from all over the South Shore to over seas, we invite you to come have a laugh with us from wherever you are.
