Comedy at the Cannery is a monthly series event hosted by Stephan Francescone featuring some of Boston and New England's funniest rising comedians. Join us on FRIDAY 3/3 at 8pm for Opener, Ian Rice, Feature Comedian, Dan Donahue, and Headliner, Jim McCue. Learn more about the performers below:
Opener - Ian Rice:
Ian Rice is the self-proclaimed funniest man from Vermont*. Ian developed his sarcastic, dry sense of humor growing up in the mean streets of Amherst, New Hampshire but started his comedy career when living in New Orleans, Louisiana after realizing he can neither cook, nor play music. He has opened for touring headliners, Wes Cannon, Clark Taylor, Chrissie Mayr, and Jim McCue and hosted the New York Comedy Show at the Hell Yes! Comedy Fest. He currently lives in Maine and performs stand-up throughout most of New England. *Ian has never been to Vermont.
Feature - Dan Donahue:
Dan is an up and coming star in the comedy circuit opening for New England legends Dave Rattigan, Juston McKinney, Jimmy Dunn and many more. He may look like he’s part of the hells angels but is really a bear.
Headliner - Jim McCue:
Jim McCue went viral with his DryBar special “nothing personal” which has had over 4 million viewers, Jim has been featured on Comedy Central, Comcast Comedy Spotlight, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” RedEye on Fox news, Live at Gotham AXS and Jim has made several
Jim has toured the globe Entertaining our troops and wrote a book called Embedded Comedian describing some of his adventures. Jim started his comedy career in Boston performing with Iconic Comedians like Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, Patrice O'Neil, and many more.
