Burlington’s Award-Winning Asian Fusion Staple Offers Signature Barbie-Themed Cocktails and New Soundtrack to Celebrate Movie Debut
This summer’s “Barbie” vibes don’t stop when the projector does, as Karma Asian Fusion, Burlington is celebrating everyone’s favorite plastic movie stars! In honor of the movie’s official debut in theaters, Friday July 28th, 2023 and continuing on Saturday 29th, 2023, Karma welcomes all fans to enjoy the ultimate Barbie-themed dream evening.
When the nation welcomes this iconic film, Karma staff will be dressed to impress in their ‘Barbie’ best. Serving up hand-crafted cocktails, as the DJ spins hours of jam-packed hits off the newly released soundtrack featuring Lizzo, Haim and Tame Impala, in addition to singles by Dua Lipa, Fifty Fifty, and Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.
Taking inspiration from the main characters, Karma’s bar staff is serving up something special for fans, the Barbie and Ken cocktails. The Barbie cocktail will have you singing “I’m a Barbie Girl, in a Barbie World” while sipping on the Malibu pink drink with strawberry gin and French strawberry and orange liquors. The addition of lemon flavors to sweeten, and pink sugar syrup, aquafaba, and edible gold shimmering for the drink’s girly aesthetic.
Another tribute to Margo Robbie’s partner in crime, Ryan Gosling, the Ken inspired cocktail blends Bully Boy Rum Volume 2, Brazilian Leblon cachaca, and Golden falernum with lime, coconut, and pineapple to make for a beachy flavor. This drink even includes the vitamins and minerals that Ken would add himself, using Organic Luminous Blue Spirulina. Topped with milk foam and edible glitter to tie it all together.
