COLORS OF PEACE - An Art Exhibit In Support of Children With Autism in Ukraine

Art is a universal language and a great means for understanding the perspectives of others, particularly their perspective of Peace.

Join us at the Wedeman Gallery of Lasell University on Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th for a charitable art showcase and sale in support of Ukranian children with autism.

Due to the war many of Ukranian children were forced to leave everything behind: their homes, schools, and often, their family members. Among them, are the most vulnerable children - these with special needs and developmental disabilities. The loss of educational and therapeutic support combined with war stressors are catastrophic to the people with autism, resulting in a mental health crisis to the entire family.

In collaboration with Heal Ukraine Group, Autism Unity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is raising funds to provide medically necessary, trauma-informed services to children with autism and their parents.

Enjoy art by local and Ukranian artists as well as newly emerging autistic talents! Refreshments and drinks will be provided.

Holiday season is upon us! Let's bring more smiles to these precious kids, who are suffering the most in these tragic times.
