“Colors of Nature” opens at Beebe Estate
Local Melrose artists Sally Gordon, Cari Roche, Beth Copp, Maria Kennedy, Karen Schluntz, Debra Corbett, Sara Gravante, Lisa Tiemann, Jennifer Moltoni, Caroline Sanis, Kathleen Walsh, Jeannie Stafford, Kerry Pegoraro, George Peterson, and Lidia Russell are featured in the Colors of Nature exhibit at the Beebe Estate, 235 West Foster street, Melrose MA.
Also featured are Joe Sarno, Liz Thompkins, Anna Thai, Maria Tee, Elisabeth Sordello, and Ose Manheim of Malden, Peg Drummey of Stoneham, Sandy Kirby of Wakefield, Katie Dewey Rosenfeld, Susan Altman, Becky Hemperley, and Debbie Corleto of Medford, Steve Rosenfeld and Mary Dewey of Worcester, and Rich Paradis of Cambridge.
Sponsored by “Coffee Shop Artists”, Colors of Nature visually explores depth and range of the colors surrounding us in nature. Mediums including photography, monotype, collage, paint, embroidery, mixed media and microphotography burst across the spectrum to tantalize the viewer.
Opening Reception is Friday, September 7th from 7pm -9pm. All are welcome at the reception. The show runs September 7-29, 2018, with gallery hours 11am -3pm on Saturdays.
About Coffee Shop Artists
Coffee Shop Artists, born in a coffee shop includes artists from Malden, Medford and Melrose. The group’s goal is finding opportunities for local artists to exhibit their work. They are searching for other venues to display artists’ works.
About the Beebe Estate
The Beebe Estate is a historic property located at 235 W. Foster Street in Melrose, Massachusetts. Built in the Greek Revival architecture style, the estate has an ownership history of prominent local and Boston businessmen. The first floor art galleries in the main house are available to local groups for exhibitions.

Medford Art Center is having a reception at Commerce place, 350 Main St, Malden from 6-8 pm on Friday September 7th. Make it an evening of art and attend both. It is less than a 10 minute drive between venues.
