Join us for a conversation hosted by The Boston Club, Servier Laboratories, and the Museum of Science, Boston with Dr. Jan Shifren, a leading gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist from Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Shifren’s groundbreaking research is disentangling and de-mystifying the complexities of menopause. Instead of using the usual whispered tones, we are diving in with full voice to explore and elevate something that every woman experiences—and that most of us know little about.
Dr. Shifren will set the stage with critical background from her decades of research including a brief overview of evidence and insights on the full range of symptoms that affect health and quality of life at midlife, including novel treatment options.
Then, she will be joined in conversation by Callie Crossley for a wide-ranging, no-holds-barred, exploration of the myths and truths of this little understood experience and its impacts on women’s leadership, professional pathways, and lives.
