Coding Workshop for Women @ Northeastern University
Register (free): https://neu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2lU0k6RlZAjLqEC
Join us at this hands-on computer science workshop that’s all about working with data. In 2023, there are more web pages, images, Tweets, Facebook posts, Instagram stories, and public- and private-sector data than ever before. But data is meaningless until we transform into something accessible and understandable -- that’s where data visualization comes in.
These hands-on coding workshops for women are developed and led by a Northeastern University computer science professor, and hosted with the support of computer science students who are all here to help everyone learn and have fun.
Women ages 18+ are welcome to join. Computers, snacks, and fun will all be provided. No need to bring anything but yourself!
* Inclusive definition. We are welcoming of trans and nonbinary individuals, genderqueer women, and anyone who identifies as a woman in any way.
