Take a virtual tour of Sandy Point State Reservation between the tides and into the tidal pools among the rocks to learn about the diverse species that reside in intertidal and subtidal zones. Join Lisa Hutchings of MassAudubon Joppa Flats who will share vibrant images and captivating, informative video clips to help you learn about the local marine biodiversity, native and non-native species, and seasonal changes along the shore. After the ~30 minute presentation, get hands-on with our tide pool touch tubs where you will get to observe, handle and ask questions about a variety of LIVE tidepool creatures, such as mollusks, crustaceans, echinoderms and more!
