When you think of Indian food, you may think about the rich North Indian curries or South Indian dosas that are typically consumed in the colder months in the West. But India is an incredibly diverse place with flavors of each region being unique. One region which showcases the best of summer Indian flavors is on the Western coast of India in Maharashtra, where dishes feature coconut, spices, and a wide swath of seafood. Join Karishma, our native Indian cooking instructor, and learn how to make coastal Indian food. We’ll make Cucumber and Red Onion Raita, Cardamom Lemonade, Spicy Fried Fish, and Tomato and Coconut Shrimp Curry. While we cook, we’ll talk about the history and culture of Indian cuisines. Instructor: Karishma Pradhan
