To conclude its 49th Season, Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble presents a constellation of chamber compositions from America’s East, West, and South coasts!
Miami-based Dwight Banks’ Tre showcases rhythmic vitality and visceral energy through enthusiastic dialogue among flute, violoncello, and piano. Bay Area composer Richard Festinger’s Tapestries for violin, cello and piano weaves intricate lines that intersperse moments of poignancy with more stringent passages. Boston-based Kathryn Salfelder’s meditative Nocturno for solo piano, an inventive duo for violin and violoncello by Curtis Hughes, and a captivating solo flute piece by Andre Myers round out the program.
The concert will launch us into our celebratory 50th Anniversary Season next year. Come join us as the ensemble reaches this historic milestone!
