CLUE: A Walking Mystery invites players to don their detective caps this Halloween season to hunt for clues and unravel a murder mystery in the eerily enchanting streets of downtown Boston. Part walking tour, part murder mystery, this experiential twist on the classic board game will remain in Boston after casting its spooky spell over the city until Sunday, Nov. 3.
The ghostly apparition of murder victim Mr. Boddy Black has risen from the grave to haunt Quincy Market and its shadowy environs, awaiting a cunning detective to solve the case. Determined to finally catch the culprit, the newly minted detectives are greeted by Mr. Boddy’s faithful Butler and instructed to search for clues that can be found in the furniture formerly housed in the iconic rooms of the historic Tudor Mansion (the Library, the Billiard Room, the Ballroom, etc.), now dispersed throughout the city. Once the furniture is located, players must solve an interactive puzzle in search of secret compartments to discover the clue left behind by the culprit. Piecing these clues together will challenge players to be the first group to figure out WHO did it, WHERE and with WHAT?
