Clarify use of your shoulder girdle, arms, and hands. Uncover hidden connections between your fingers and your arm pits, between your shoulder blades, through your arms. Taste the possibility of your shoulder girdle floating on your thorax.
Your shoulders are ball-and-socket joints, like your hip joints. Most us overuse our shoulders and arms, and under-utilize the power of our pelvic girdle, low back, and legs. Discover how to re-distribute the work, so your big muscles and bones do their job.
Move small to go big!
Join us whether or not you’ve attended other workshops in the Discover Yourself series.

The Method
The Feldenkrais Method® is a unique, potent approach to improving human movement and catalyzing learning and change based on principles of physics, neuroscience and physiology, and the conditions under which the nervous system learns best. Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc. (1904-1984), a physicist and the first Western black belt in judo, developed the techniques and theory.
Angela Alston helps people reconnect with their innate strength using the Feldenkrais Method. She has practiced meditation and Feldenkrais® since 1996, and has taught since 2010. Learn more about training with Angela at Roots of Strength: https://rootsofstrength.net/.
