On Monday, November 11th at 10:30 a.m., the City of Quincy will hold its annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony. The Parade will kick off at Quincy High School and travel along Hancock Street. A wreath will be placed at the WWI Doughboy Statue at the corner of Hancock Street and Furnace Brook Parkway. From there, the parade will continue to Upper Merrymount Park at the corner of Hancock St. and Southern Artery where a ceremony will be held. Colonel James Croall, USA (ret.), will serve as keynote speaker. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the gymnasium of Quincy High School at 11:00 a.m.
