Cinco De Mayo Cooking Class with Cambridge School of Culinary Arts!
While #TheFrontStepsProject is on hold, Scout is introducing a new, fun way to stay connected in a world that is distancing and we are excited to kick off a series of Zoom classes featuring locals on Tuesday, May 5!
As vibrant and exciting as the country’s culture, authentic Mexican food is famous around the world for its bold flavors and elaborate ties to festivals and events. Commemorate the Mexican Army’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla with a fun night of cooking as we recreate some of Mexico’s most authentic and memorable dishes! We will prepare: chalupas (one of the most popular snacks in Central Mexico) and churros with spicy chocolate sauce for dessert.
While the classes are all FREE, we will be setting a fundraising goal at the beginning of each session that we hope to meet by the end of the hour, and share ways you can contribute to Scout along the way.
To sign up for any of these classes, email Holli at [email protected] with the name of the class in the subject line. On the day of the class, you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting information.
Hope to see you there!
