October 24th, 2017 marks the first annual New England Cider week where restaurants, bars, and cider makers come together to celebrate the rich traditions and forward looking ideals in Heritage Cider production. Born of Founder Jackson Cannon's twin loves of great ciders and good times NECW spotlights the makers of some of New England's most beloved fermentations in a variety of epic parties and educational opportunities.
In celebration of New England Cider Week, Chef Jeremy Sewall of Les Sablons presents an apple bounty in partnership with oysterman and apple farmer, CJ Husk. On Sunday, October 29th beginning at 10:30am, Les Sablons’ Cider Brunch will feature a la carte menu items that incorporate the unique apple varieties grown on CJ’s Nichols Tenney Farm in Hollis, New Hampshire. Reserve by calling Les Sablons at 617-268-6800.
Menu items will include:
Burnt Apple Crepe's with whipped mascarpone and cinnamon sugar
Brioche French Toast with Caramel Apples and Roasted Pecans
Veal Tongue Sandwich with Apple Slaw, Fried Egg and Grain Mustard
Caramel Apple with Lady Apple Charlotte
