Christopher’s Haven, the Boston-based nonprofit that provides temporary housing for families when their child is going through a cancer diagnosis, hosts its annual fundraiser at City Winery on Thursday, April 27. This year’s fundraiser will honor their Executive Director of over 20 years, Joyce Duvall.
The fundraiser will include a silent auction to raise money and awareness for Christopher’s Haven so that they can continue to provide affordable housing for families of children battling cancer at nearby hospitals.
The event will be emceed by Sue Brady and Fast Freddy from Mix 104.1. There will be passed hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment from Ryan LaPerle, and a silent auction featuring several items, including a private 5-course Chef Dinner with Wine for 10 at Winner's Home, tickets to Boston sporting events, a private yoga class with catering by Playa Bowls, and more! Individual tickets cost $150 and can be purchased at christophershaven.org.

Founded on Labor Day 2006, Christopher's Haven is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Boston, Massachusetts with a mission to operate a supportive community consisting of ten temporary apartments and a community recreation area for families of children being treated for cancer in nearby Boston hospitals. Christopher's Haven holds the distinction of being the only organization of its kind that offers an apartment setting for the entire family, specific programs and activities for children undergoing outpatient treatment, as well as programs for siblings and parents, and takes full advantage -- through the help of an extensive volunteer network -- of both the unparalleled medical and cultural advantages of Boston.
