Experience Chris Pureka live September 22nd at Arts at the Armory’s Spotlight Series!


Chris Pureka’s folk and Americana-infused songwriting has pulled listeners in over the span of their 20 year career. The “elegant emotionality” of Pureka’s vocals has caught critics’ attention, who have likened the Portland musician to Chan Marshall, Bruce Springsteen, and Patty Griffin. In Pureka’s newest album, “The Longest Year,” each song has been paired down instrumentally due to the restrictions of recording during pandemic times in 2021. Yet the simplicity of the guitar, bass, and harmonies–all recorded by Pureka– harkens back to the singer songwriter’s early days of music making. 


Join us for an intimate concert at Arts at the Armory with Chris Pureka. Doors open at 7:00PM; the show starts at 8:00PM.
