Two weeks before its world premiere by Chorus pro Musica, award-winning composer Andy Vores will preside over a special behind-the-scenes sneak peek of his newest work, “In Childhood’s Thicket,” a CpM commission. Andy will discuss the inspiration for the piece, the challenges and rewards of being commissioned for such a composition, and the journey to opening night. The talk will be followed by an open rehearsal featuring the chorus performing movements from the piece.
