Class Description: In this pre-performance workshop, adults who are interested in performing at an Adult Folktale Telling event can share, explore and practice a traditional folktale, fairytale, legend, myth or bible story. This workshop can help prepare students for public speaking in general and Storytelling performance in particular. Fun and non-threatening, it’s a great opportunity to try out a story in a safe and supportive space before attempting to share it on a stage.
About Facilitator: Storyteller and Story-Reader Doria Hughes is known for her dynamic and expressive performance style, and for encouraging audience participation!
