Internationally acclaimed Israeli chef and hotelier Uri Jeremias (affectionately known as Chef Uri Buri) will be bringing his culinary expertise to NECAT for a special event on December 8, 2016. Chef Uri Buri is from the port city of Akko and is visiting Boston specifically to host this incredible event, which marks the launch of NECAT’s new Master Chef Series, and to share his perspective and culinary acumen with NECAT's students. This event also coincides with the opening of NECAT's sister organization, the Akko Center for Arts & Technology (ACAT).
Chef Uri’s specialty is Mediterranean Cuisine and he is widely recognized for serving the most exquisite fish in Israel, touted for its layers of flavor and texture. In fact, TripAdvisor just named his restaurant the top Fine Dining establishment in the Middle East!
This event will feature a fun and interactive cooking demonstration that will allow the Chef to share his philosophy on food and deep passion for cooking. The demo will be followed by a dinner that will showcase his most popular dishes.
A limited number of tickets are available for $150 per person, with all event proceeds supporting NECAT’s vital Culinary Arts Job Training Program. The Israeli Consulate of New England and JArts are partnering with NECAT on this event.
