Join astrobiologist David Grinspoon, PhD, and Alan Stern, PhD, leader of the New Horizons mission to Pluto, as they take the audience through the incredible journey recounted in their book Chasing New Horizons, from Alan's audacious idea of a mission to Pluto, to the grassroots effort to build support for the concept in the planetary community, to the result: one of the most flawless NASA missions to ever be executed. They'll explain the incredible science of what was discovered from the mission about this previously little-known world and share stunning images from the flyby.


David and Alan will be holding a book signing after the presentation, and copies of Chasing New Horizons will be available for purchase.
