Local public art non-profit Now + There and the National Park Service want your help imagining a more vibrant Charlestown Navy Yard, with public art, activities, and more near the Hoosac Stores Building– an initiative for Summer 2023 called Lot Lab. Join us for a Town Hall on February 8, 5:30-7:00 pm on Zoom to share your ideas and listen to perspectives from the community. What would you want to see or do this summer near the waterfront?
Building off of a listening session in 2021 and “N+T Asks: What Does Charlestown Need Right Now?” in 2020, Now + There and the National Park Service solicit your input on how public art and events can create active spaces of healing and rejuvenation.
We invite all who live, work, play in and care about building a vibrant and equitable Charlestown to join us for an open community town hall facilitated by Kate Gilbert, Executive Director, and Jasper Sanchez, Curatorial Assistant.
Let us know how N+T can be a good partner in the Navy Yard!
