The Anchor, the Boston’s area newest beer & wine garden with an expansive outdoor gathering space, is hosting the Charlestown Chowderfest from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm on Sunday, September 8th. This chowder festival will feature a chowder competition featuring local restaurants, live music & entertainment, food vendors, free games & activities. Sponsored by Friends of the Charlestown Navy Yard, The Anthem Group and the BPDA.


The Anchor is an all ages, family and pet-friendly unique gathering space that includes unparalleled panoramic views of Boston Harbor and the downtown skyline, multi-level fountain, waterfront mezzanine, lush grass lawns, swing chairs and cozy lounge seating nestled in a historic Navy Yard structure.


Located at 1 Shipyard Park in Charlestown, MA, The Anchor features a beer & wine garden, over 200 lawn & board games and a variety of seating.
