An important message from Charles Laquidara regarding the new feature documentary film "WBCN and The American Revolution":
"They say you can't go home, again. But they never saw the new documentary, 'WBCN and the American Revolution' or attended the after-party which will be happening on December 4th at Fenway Johnnie's.
That's right! Write it down! On Wednesday evening, December 4th you can see the BCN documentary AND hang out with your favorite BCN announcers from the early days, along with the James Montgomery Band and special musical guests, as well as with the legendary MC Charlie 'Master Blaster' Daniels.
I'm giving you this heads up because tickets are limited and once they are gone, they're gone.
Here's the scoop: It seems that all these anti-establishment singers from the 1960s need to get paid to use their music and we couldn't do a documentary about BCN without the music, so we have to raise money ONE MORE TIME in order to get the film out there -- beyond festivals -- to theaters, libraries, schools, and home video!
Donate whatever you can for prizes and credit -- or gather up $104 to get your tickets right now as a Christmas gift for someone special, or as a treat for yourself, by making a tax-deductible donation at SeeTheFilm.com
It's all happening at the old Sears building, now called the Landmark Center, 401 Park Drive in Boston.
I will be there, along with my buddies and co-DJs Tommy Hadges, Joe 'Mississippi Fats' Rogers, Matt Siegel, Al Perry, Dinah Vaprin, Sam Kopper, Debbie Ullman, Steven Clean Siegel and whichever DJs I forgot to name here... plus David Bieber and special surprise guests!
Hey- You think you miss BCN? Just wait and see how you do the Funky Chicken if you miss out on this special night of filmmaking and music!
Click on SeeTheFilm.com right now to make a tax deductible donation."

P.S. All donors have a chance to win an evening with Suzanne Vega when she performs in Marblehead and other great prizes to be given away to random donors which will be announced soon. (Who knows. Duane may even show up...) Be there. SeeTheFilm.com
