Join the Sasaki Foundation on November 16, 2023, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at 110 Chauncy in Downtown Boston for a Celebration of Design: the Eras Tour. We’ll highlight the eras of Hideo Sasaki’s career and the eras of the Sasaki Foundation, celebrating with food, drinks, and fun! All proceeds will go to supporting our mission of equity in design.


The Sasaki Foundation is named for Hideo Sasaki, an internationally renowned landscape architect admired for his teaching, critical abilities, and multidisciplinary approach to design. As both an educator and a practitioner, Hideo became a leading figure in the modern design movement in mid-twentieth century America.


Today the Sasaki Foundation carries forward Hideo Sasaki’s legacy by sponsoring community-based research and actionable projects in our Boston region, creating space for dialogues that highlight important topics that advance advocacy for social justice and resilience, and providing design education opportunities to youth.
