It's National Tequila Day on July 24th and Avery Bar mixologist Joel Atlas is excited to offer the perfect summertime cocktail to commemorate this special occasion.
It is called the "Morning Dove" and it's made with blueberry infused tequila Ocho Plata, lime juice, grapefruit soda and salt, garnished with fresh blueberries and lime.
"This is summertime in a glass," shares Atlas about the cocktail. "The Ocho Plata brand has notes of fresh cut grass and a touch of earthiness. Couple that with the perfect blend of fresh fruit flavors and some grapefruit fizz to kick this cocktail up a slight notch. It's a refreshing cocktail treat for the summer and the perfect beverage for National Tequila Day."
Avery Bar is located at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston, at 10 Avery Street, and will be open on Wednesday, July 24th from 4pm - 11pm.
