Celebrate National Tequila Day, Wednesday, July 24th, at Bambara Kitchen & Bar at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge. Here mixologist John Erdmann is pleased to offer a "Welcome Home" cocktail made with espolon blanco tequila, lemongrass-tamarind syrup, lemon and soda. 


When asked about the cocktail's flavor profile, he says "the tequila blanco tantalizes the senses with the aroma of sweet agave, tropical fruit and lemon zest. The aromatic lemongrass and the fruity but tart tamarind are mixed together to make a syrup that’s both tangy and sweet. Combined, all ingredients make a stylish and clean finish tequila-based cocktail." 


Bambara Kitchen & Bar is open for lunch, 11am - 1pm, and dinner, 5pm - 10pm, on Wednesday, July 24th. Stop by and enjoy the perfect cocktail to commemorate National Tequila Day.
