As seen on Just For Laughs, Dating #NoFilter (Hulu), Apple TV! Cara Connors is an LA-based comedian and multifaceted homosexual with an ass that won’t quit. After a successful 15 city run of sold out and standing room only shows at some of the most highly regarded indie comedy venues in North America (The Hideout Chicago, Union Hall NYC, PianoFight San Francisco, Fallout Theater Austin, Comedy Bar Toronto, Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth & more!) Cara Connors is taking her hour back on the road for an expanded summer tour! Her solo show, Straight for Pay, brings her unique brand of high energy, self-effacing and unapologetically feminist and queer comedy to an additional 15 cities throughout the U.S and Europe.
A “formerly kept woman and your current girlfriend’s favorite ex-girlfriend,” her headlining show at the New York Comedy Festival was described as “extraordinarily self-aware, deeply anxious and very self-effacing with some guttural screams thrown in for good measure.” A perpetual late bloomer, the hour explores Connors’ second adolescence and sexual awakening, post-divorce “rumspringa,” and occasionally feral existence as a queer, millennial comedian chasing her dreams while trying to make up for lost time.

PRESS:
“This effervescent comedian has become a headliner, actor, producer, writer, creator and on-screen star. Her meaningful shenanigans would make Sacha Baron Cohen proud.”
Chicago Now
“They were relentless, electric, authentic, and a human embodiment of what Adderall was invented to quiet. Their comedy leaned into the absurd, and this may be the key to their success. Within the span of an hour, Connors’ openness and authenticity became infectious.”
The Varsity
“Connors just likes to have fun, to have hoot & holler energy, which is what those attending her show can expect.”
